Ages 5-12

Superhero Camp is an action-packed adventure where kids can become their favorite heroes! They'll tackle fun challenges, design costumes, and use their "superpowers" like teamwork and agility to complete missions. It’s a chance to boost confidence, unleash creativity, and have a blast!

Arts and Crafts Camp is a creative haven where kids can explore their artistic talents! They’ll enjoy a variety of fun projects, from painting and drawing to sculpting and jewelry-making. It’s a place to express creativity, learn new skills, and make unique, handmade masterpieces!

Wild Wild West

ages 5-12

Wild West Camp is an exciting adventure where kids can experience life as cowboys and cowgirls while learning about the history of the Wild West and Kansas! They’ll enjoy activities like roping, and line dancing. It’s a fun way to explore the past, develop teamwork skills, and have a rootin' tootin' good time!

is an action-packed camp where kids step into the wild and test their survival skills! From building shelters to solving puzzles and completing team challenges, every day brings a new adventure. It’s a fun, hands-on way to build teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience while exploring the thrill of the great outdoors!

Embark on an exciting Wildlife Safari at camp, where kids can explore nature, learn about animals, and discover the great outdoors! Through hands-on activities, nature walks, and animal-themed games, campers will connect with wildlife while having fun and building new skills.

Dive into an underwater adventure at Sea Life Camp, where kids can learn about the wonders of the ocean! They'll discover marine creatures, learn about ocean ecosystems, and take part in exciting activities like fish identification and ocean-themed games. It’s a splashin' good time for all!

Mad scientist

Ages 5-12

Unleash creativity and curiosity at
Mad Scientist Camp! Kids will dive into hands-on experiments, discover cool scientific concepts, and create wild inventions. With fun activities like slime-making, volcano eruptions, and more, it’s the perfect camp for budding scientists to explore the world of science in a fun and exciting way!

Information and FAQ

Camp Hours

Camp runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday- Friday. Drop-off begins at 7:30 AM, and pick-up is by 3:30 PM.

Lunch

Campers should bring their own lunch. We have refrigerators and microwaves available for use. Water and lemonade will be provided, but children are encouraged to bring their own water bottle.

Where is camp?

Camps are held at Bridgepoint Community Church 601 W 29th Terrace, Lawrence, KS 66046. It will include both indoor classroom and craft time, as well as outdoor activities.

What is the cost of camp and how do I register?

The cost for camp is $175 for one student, $290 for two students, and $435 for three students. For larger groups, please contact us directly for pricing information. Register below for weekly camp.

What will my child be doing at camp?

Camp offers a blend of indoor and outdoor activities. Each day includes a Socratic discussion where children are encouraged to share their thoughts and opinions on various topics, promoting critical thinking and learning outside of school year. Every camp has a themed crafts, games, and activities to complement each day's unique focus. And of course, we allow plenty of free play because what's summer without fun time with friends!

Is there a deadline for registration?

Camp registration ends on May 1 for all June camps and on May 15 for all July camps.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for summer camp is comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing suitable for active play. Campers should wear athletic shoes. Bring sunscreen, and hats for sun protection if needed as we will be outside throughout the day. Clothing should be suitable for outdoor play and crafts. Please avoid clothing with inappropriate logos or messaging.

Camp Behavioral Code

Respect for All: Treat fellow campers, staff, and the camp spaces with kindness and respect. Bullying, name-calling, or discrimination will not be tolerated.

Safety First: Follow all safety rules and instructions.

Listen to Staff: Camp staff are here to ensure your safety and fun. Follow their directions at all times.

Be Responsible: Take care of your personal belongings, clean up after yourself, and help keep our spaces tidy.

Respect Spaces: Treat the camp's spaces with care. Leave no trace and dispose of trash properly.

Inclusive Behavior: Embrace and welcome all campers. We value each camper's individuality and promote building positive, supportive relationships within the group.

Participation: Actively engage in camp activities and be open to trying new things. Have a positive attitude, even when things are challenging.

No Alcohol, Drugs, or Vaping: The use of alcohol, drugs, or vaping is strictly prohibited during camp activities.

Follow the Schedule: Arrive on time for activities, and stay within designated areas unless given permission to leave.

Consequences: Failure to follow these guidelines may result in warnings, time-outs, or removal from camp activities, depending on the severity of the behavior.
